Preambula
These Terms and Conditions of Sale govern the relationship between LAEGIS SAS, a simplified joint-stock company with its registered office at 6 rue d'Armaillé, 75017 Paris, France (SIREN 100 663 012 — RCS Paris), operating under the brand Les Éditions LAEGIS, and any person purchasing books published by the publishing house.
Članak 1. — Predmet
These Terms and Conditions apply to the sale of books (print and digital formats) published by Les Éditions LAEGIS and distributed through third-party sales platforms (Amazon, FNAC, Cultura, independent bookshop network and other distributors). The website edlaegis.com is an institutional presentation site; it does not constitute an online shop and does not allow purchases to be made directly.
Članak 2. — Distribucija i kupnja
Books from Les Éditions LAEGIS are available for purchase exclusively through partner distribution platforms (Amazon, FNAC, Cultura, independent bookshop network). Redirect links on the edlaegis.com website lead to these platforms. Each purchase made on a third-party platform is subject to that platform's own terms and conditions of sale.
Članak 3. — Cijene
Book prices are set in accordance with French Law No. 81-766 of 10 August 1981 on the fixed price of books (Lang Law). The sale price is the same regardless of the distribution channel, excluding delivery charges specific to each platform.
Članak 4. — Intelektualno vlasništvo
All content published by Les Éditions LAEGIS (texts, covers, extracts, illustrations) is protected by copyright under the French Intellectual Property Code. Any reproduction, even partial, without prior written authorisation is prohibited. Reading extracts offered on the site are provided free of charge and for strictly personal use.
Članak 5. — Digitalni izvaci
Book extracts available for download on edlaegis.com (PDF, EPUB) are free and intended for personal reading use only. They may not be redistributed, sold or used for commercial purposes.
Članak 6. — Pravo na odustajanje
In accordance with Article L. 221-18 of the French Consumer Code, the consumer has 14 days to exercise their right of withdrawal. This right is exercised with the platform on which the purchase was made, according to each distributor's own conditions. Free digital content (PDF/EPUB extracts) downloaded is not subject to the right of withdrawal.
Članak 7. — Jamstva
Books published by Les Éditions LAEGIS benefit from the legal guarantee of conformity (Articles L. 217-4 to L. 217-14 of the Consumer Code) and the guarantee against hidden defects (Articles 1641 to 1649 of the Civil Code). For any manufacturing defect found, the reader may contact the publisher via the website's contact form.

Les Éditions LAEGIS is committed to protecting its readers' personal data in accordance with the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and the French Data Protection Act. No personal data is collected during simple browsing of the site. Data submitted through contact forms is processed in accordance with our privacy policy.
Članak 9. — Sporovi i posredovanje
In the event of a dispute relating to the purchase of a book, the consumer may use the consumer mediation service free of charge. These Terms and Conditions are governed by French law. Any dispute falls under the jurisdiction of the Paris courts.

Les Éditions LAEGIS reserves the right to amend these Terms and Conditions at any time. The version in force is that accessible on the edlaegis.com website at the date of consultation.
